latest project
I worked on the soundtrack to the animated pilot GODSPEED, with more than 2 million views on YouTube.GODSPEED follows the journey of Iris, a young woman, and her adorable karaoke-bot sidekick named Bowie as they navigate a crumbling world.Composer Andrew Goodwin and I created 5 original songs for the robot Bowie + 2 additional songs inspired by the series. I got to throw my voice around in a whole lot of interesting ways, trying to capture what an otherworldly Elvis or Johnny Cash or even AC/DC could possibly sound like.

I've had the privilege of getting to work on several other film & TV projects, including the animated sci-fi comedy Final Space from creator Olan Rogers, which ran for 3 seasons on TBS, Adult Swim, and HBO Max.My musical adventures have led to many other opportunities, including having songs licensed on MTV & VH1, as well as several other collaborations with Olan on YouTube content.

I've always got a song in my head that I need to let out.I wrote my first song in 2006 and haven't stopped since. In 2007, I formed the band Awake! Awake!, which released three LPs before evolving into a collaborative duo with my friend and bandmate Andrew Goodwin, composer/guitarist/producer (and recently, flautist!) extroardinaire.Lately, I've been tracking whatever song is on my mind and heart from the comfort of my own home, whether it's something I write or a cover of something that I'm just itching to sing.

never game over
Hands-down the most fun song adventure I've had — filming a music video for our song Never Game Over in an actual arcade.We wrote the song (along with a 5-track EP) for another cartoon pilot called The Lion's Blaze, which was in development with a major studio (ultimately shelved). In the pitch phase, we got funding to shoot a music video (directed by Jordan Harms) and had the run of the Game Galaxy arcade in Smyrna, TN for two whole nights.
acting & voice work
Two things have led me to start pursuing acting and voice work.:1. Songs that have basically let me play characters with my voice -- AND --
2. Being a dad & reading to my kids. I read the whole Harry Potter series to them and had a different voice for every character, including the accents.I had an amazing drama teacher in high school and went on to minor in Theatre in college. The acting bug has never really left me. My resumé is small, but for your consideration: that Harry Potter demo reel :) and a playlist of some of my songs that have let me really "go play" vocally.
coaching
A few years ago, I became a teacher as my day job — 7th through 9th grade ELA. I've also helped coach several school sports.I've loved it, and It's been an awesome time of discovery.
